Black Diamond built the X2 Leather Fire Boot for the ultimate blend of comfort, performance & protection. This 14" structural fire boot features flame-resistant leather, ArmorAP Kevlar/Nomex fabric and a GORE-TEX CROSSTECH moisture barrier for elevated waterproof, breathable protection against bloodborne pathogens and chemicals to deliver protection that meets the requirements of the NFPA.
The flame-resistant rubber outsole provides durable traction with a 90 degree heel and ladder lock grips to keep you safe while climbing or on the ground. The steel safety toe and steel puncture resistant plate protect your feet from impact and puncture hazards. For added protection, this boot features a form fitting shin guard, an external molded rubber toe cap and ankle guard to amplify its durability.
Awarded the AMPA seal of acceptance, the X2 is built with three widths in one. The removable inserts under the Ortholite comfort footbed allows you to switch between medium, wide and extra wide widths, while the three point heel lock system gives you a secure fit.
